We had Peyton's Princess party yesterday. Since we "live in the sticks now" as my friend Katie says I decided it was time to make Peyton's cake this year and upgrade my cake baking skills. It turned out really cute and Peyton loved it so it was worth the time and effort! It will be a new fun tradition I think to be able to let the kids pick out a cake and I'll attempt to make it :-) The girls had a fun time playing games, making bracelets, presents and just playing! Peyton had a great birthday. This year was her first b-day in South Dakota so she didn't have her best friends she'd grown up with but it has been great watching her make new friends, of course she'll never forget her friends in WA and Texas though! We have one more party left now- Peyton and Jackson's family party ...stay tuned to see my next cake attempt!

I think the cake turned out great! Looks like some friends came too :) John saw the blog and said, man, she looks like Kristen! I told him that's what everyone else has always said.
Talk to ya tomorrow. I have work again :)
