Half of our family--including Fancy the cat

Happy Birthday Dad!
I received a cupcake book for Christmas so we've been busy making cupcakes for Pey's preschool snack and my dad's b-day! They are a lot of work ...but fun!

Broken Bones

My poor fingers!

Such a sad face!

Never thought Jack would be our first broken bones...but he broke 3 fingers this week when shut in the hinge side of a door. Yuck ...so he has to wear a splint for 2 weeks--poor little man! He's been a trooper through it all

Father-Daughter bonding

Jason likes to do puzzles and Pey has inherited the love of them from him....they get their extra bonding time while working on puzzles together! Do you love our hand-me-down couch in the background!

New Years Eve

Getting ready to play cards

Madison finally passed out at about 11:30!

A heated game of dominoes

Had a fun time w/ friends at our house New Years Eve...just hung out, ate yummy food, played cards and watched the kids run around..pretty low key but it was a good time!

Holy Snow!

My parents farm

Up the sidewalk to my parents house

Shoveling away!

Yeah for snow (Peyton says anyways)

Ugh...in our driveway after the first night of snow

Can't believe the crazy snow we got last week...probably about 24 inches total ...combine that with the blowing wind and you get crazy drifts as well as get to be snowed in for awhile. Oh also an aching body from shoveling your driveway for almost 3 hours- and no that wasn't me along..including Jason and neighbors! At least it makes some nice hills in our flat yard for Pey to sled on! Why do we live in South Dakota..today it was around -7 degrees most the day...wonderful!

We had a wonderful Christmas season....it was busy but great. We had a total of 6 Christmases and finished today! We started off w/ Christmas w/ the Meyer's (I forgot my camera); then we had Christmas w/ my parents, Christmas w/ my Grandma Dee, our family Christmas; Christmas w/ Grandma Fern; and finally w/ Jason's mom...whew--it exhausts me typing all of that.. Thankfully they were spread out by planning and by the blizzard we had over Christmas! The kids had fun, Jackson could care less about opening presents but actually started opening them this last time!
