Peyton's Princess Party

The castle cake

It was a success--Peyton loved her cake!

Playing pin the kiss on the frog

Making bracelets

Silly girls!

We had Peyton's Princess party yesterday. Since we "live in the sticks now" as my friend Katie says I decided it was time to make Peyton's cake this year and upgrade my cake baking skills. It turned out really cute and Peyton loved it so it was worth the time and effort! It will be a new fun tradition I think to be able to let the kids pick out a cake and I'll attempt to make it :-) The girls had a fun time playing games, making bracelets, presents and just playing! Peyton had a great birthday. This year was her first b-day in South Dakota so she didn't have her best friends she'd grown up with but it has been great watching her make new friends, of course she'll never forget her friends in WA and Texas though! We have one more party left now- Peyton and Jackson's family party ...stay tuned to see my next cake attempt!

Oh how we've grown!

Peyton- 4 yrs
Jackson- 2 months

Peyton- 5 yrs
Jackson- 11mo

New wheels

Yeah...I finally got a new car and am super excited about this....for anyone who knows me well I've complained about my previous car for quite some time, although it ran great I was ready for some more space. So my wonderful hubby decided it was time to upgrade! How exciting!

Took some pics of the kids outside the other day..Pey loved jumping in the leaves. Jack didn't really care to touch the leaves at all and was wondering what I sat him in! Hopefully fall will hold on a little longer and hold off winter!

Ready for Bed?

Pacifier in left hand---check

Pacifier in right hand---check

Pacifier in mouth---check

Jackson is ready for bed! Yes, often he sleeps during the night holding those paci's...might be a sad time when its time soon to get rid of those paci's--better hold them while you can!

Relaxing a bit.....

A "fancified" purse cake for Becky's b-day

Pumpkins can be so funny :-)

One of the rare moments we have lately--being home, relaxing with daddy while he's home on the weekend and not running around!
Jas and Peyton playing and intense game of Pictureka! So far Peyton beats us both--she's great at hidden pictures...

Swimming with Friends

Jackson and Andrew

Jackson loves the water

Ending the night w/ ice cream- could there be anything better?

Owen and Peyton- being silly

Down the slide!

Peyton and her friend Owen have birthdays just one day apart so we decided to go swimming to celebrate at a nearby indoor pool. Its a fun place w/ slides and stuff...even the babies had a good time!

I'm 5!

Opening her first present from Jas and I

We'll my little girl is five now...which makes me sad as I still remember her as a little baby so well! She was such a good little baby...which of course must be where Jackson gets his good nature. But I know kids have to grow up, she
s still a good kid! She had a low key birthday on the actual day, but of course she still had fun and got to spend most the day at the farm--who knew doing chores w/ grandpa could be so fun! And she still has her friend party and joint b-day party w/ Jackson coming up. She's still a fun loving, energetic girl who loves doing most anything! She enjoys preschool, riding her bike, her brother (hope that lasts), the farm, playing w/ her cousins, playing board/card games...the list could go on and on. We love our little Peyton and hope she has/had a wonderful birthday!

11 months

Jack and cousin Blake

Yes someone made this for Jackson!

I love to eat!

Jackson turned 11 months last week, its hard to believe that he'll be a year old next month. He's growing so fast it seems..he can take 2-3 steps but then stops the walking and gets down or likes to fall so we'll catch him! He still only has 2 teeth, but seems like he's getting some- they just never come! He waves bye, can point to his head, says no-no (shakes his head), says mama, baba....I don't know if there is much more he has learned this month, seems like he learns new things every day! He loves to eat and will eat anything I put on his table. He's not a baby anymore!

Just chillin'

Relaxing in her pjs

What a cute puppy!!!

Keep Climbing

Looks like we have another little monkey on our hands--Peyton was a great climber from a very small age. He's pretty proud of himself that he figured out how to climb so
he could look out the window!
