Kindergarten Field Trip
Ears and Teeth (and Jacks game)
Ears pierced
Since Peyton started Kindergarten she is suddenly growing up!! A few weeks ago we got her ears pierced with these small purple earrings....now yesterday she said she had a loose tooth. We went to the SDSU game and by the end of the game it had fallen out!! For some reason these things have been "harder" for Jason too deal w/ than her starting kindergarten like she is all of the sudden growing up!! :-) Also a few pics fro the SDSU game we went to last night--one I figure out how to get them off my phone I'll put the one w/ the Jackrabbit on!

Kindergarten!!
This week Peyton started Kindergarten---I can't believe it!! She has been so excited for weeks now and was looking forward to going to school every day. The 1st morning of school she came downstairs and said "I slept in my clothes last night because I thought it would speed things up!" Now I put her to bed in her pj's--she must of changed! She has been very excited about recess, assemblies--because she is w/ the "big" kids-I try to tell her she is a big kid now but I guess she doesn't believe me. It makes me a little sad that my baby is already in kindergarten--but I'm excited for her too.. This is my 1st day of just Jackson and I --kind of strange --and he misses Pey Pey a lot..but we'll have lots of fun together.

Zoo
We had one last hurrah to the zoo before school starts. The Omaha Zoo is pretty big and a great zoo! We walked and walked and walked in the 90 plus weather for about 6 hours it took us to get through the zoo...so although hot we had lots of fun! Peyton and Jack loved looking at the animals, riding the train, and running through the sprinklers. It was fun to spend time as a family as we haven't been able to go on many trips this summer!
Butterflies!
All of the cocoons--pretty cool
We went to the butterfly house as a treat to Peyton who has wanted to go there all year...we finally made it! Sioux Falls has a great one w/ hundred's of butterflies flying all around you. Jackson was more interested in trying to climb into the water and catch the butterflies..but Pey thought they were all pretty neat!
