Oh Peyton

For anyone who knows Peyton --she is a one of a kind. I love her so much but she does the funniest things some times. She rarely sleeps on her bed, for some reason, and most nights sleeps under her bed---maybe she feels safe under there (as she gets scared of anything at night!) She enjoys sleeping in her tent in her room, on her rug, most favorite is under her bed--here is where I found her tonight--most nights I can't even see her. When I make her she will sleep in her bed for awhile....I guess her bed/mattress won't ever wear out!

Gardening 101

So I neglected my farm garden (yes I have a town garden and a farm garden)...so far the town garden doesn't get much sun so isn't doing too well and my farm garden is at my parents which is massive but since I don't see it every day can get a bit neglected....so anyways I neglected my farm garden for about 1-2 weeks . Now in my defense it has been thunder storming daily for the last week at least which makes it pretty wet there.

Before Picture: What NOT to do---yes these are all weeds--not beautiful strawberry bushes or anything like that WEEDS! In these weeds are about 9 watermelon, squash, cantaloupe plants which I slowly found...may have pulled up a few trying to distinguish between a weed and plant ! :-)


3 hours later after picture: not perfect...but much better! Still have a ways to go on my weeding but this was the worst of it...maybe I'll wait until my mom comes home from vacation to help :-) Won't neglect it that long again!!

T-Ball season has begun ...this is Pey's first year of playing T-ball and it has been pretty entertaining...So far she likes playing in the dirt...but does get much more into it during practice when her fans aren't around :-) Who know if we'll have a baseball player on our hands...but in the mean time its great exercise and a way to expend some energy!
