Jason and John reunited after 6 yrs we think??

We were so excited our good friends John, Katie, Chloe, Luke, Joel, and Zach stopped by to see us on their way home....it was been awhile since we've been able to hang out with them! Although it was a quick trip it was great to spend some time with them like the good old days in Washington (plus a few extra kids :-) We hope we get to see them again and the time in between doesn't go so long this time!

Fun!

We spent 4th of July first w/ a little fireworks of our own then went over to friends' house.. Jackson was so funny and opened his mouth big EVERY, I mean every, all night, time a firework went off ...it was so funny I wish I had a picture of it. Peyton of course loved the pretty fireworks in the sky. We stayed up late and the kids even were having a ball until we came home.

I can't believe Jason and I have been married 10 YEARS---it still seems crazy to me. We celebrated on a much needed overnight get away locally...in hopes of going on a bigger trip this fall. We had so much fun just hanging out, going out to eat, shopping around and spending time alone together. Jason is a wonderful husband and I've enjoyed every year we've had together. We've been lucky now to I believe have spent about 3 of our anniversaries together...as for awhile he was always deployed or away on them...it would be interesting to look back at how much time we've been apart ---we know it took about the first 3-4 yrs to have lived more together than apart :-) I look forward to spending the next 60 yrs together --or more--that would be crazy!! I love you honey!

Just a typical day at the Meyer home!! We had a fun day babysitting the Webb kids and even got in some practice for Peyton :-) The kids had lots of fun playing together...a few other pics of the kids being silly and Peyton in another true way I found her sleeping one night--how uncomfortable!!

At the end of June was Pey's last T-ball game...not sure if she learned everything there is to know about T-ball but she had fun whether it was running around, hitting the ball or just playing in the dirt. Here is a picture of Pey's favorite flower at the time--snapdragons..this is her pot to take care of!
