Fun pics
Christmas Program
This year both Jackson and Peyton were in our church Christmas program. Jackson- a sheep and Pey the star. Pey didn't actually have any lines but of course wanted some and wanted to sing a solo--so she was given a piece (which she memorized in 1 day) and basically sang a solo, since she was singing along w/ 2- 3yr olds and a 2 yr old :-) She definitely doesn't get her outgoingness (yes I've made that a word if it isn't) from me :-)
Tree time!
Every year since Pey has been born we've chopped down our own tree...its fun for the kids and us. This year the Conners came w/ us---it was a harder tree decision for them than us. Yes and every year as I pick up the needles I think I'd like a fake tree--but it seems so "un-Christmas like"...
Happy Birthday Jackson
Hard to believe my little boy turned 2 in November..He is so much fun. He's for the most part a very happy boy, still a typical boy---loves balls, trucks and tractors. He LOVES Peyton and playing w/ her and wants to do everything she does. He never stops and is super active. He's starting to talk more and more, although often in only a language he and I can understand. He loves to ride in dad's truck or w/ grandpa in the tractor. Our little boy has brought us so much joy!!!
Fun for Jason!
When we moved into our new home we inherited this annoying cherry tree (or something)...it dropped cherries all over our driveway and sidewalk constantly which of course got tracked in on our carpet (I still have the stains to show for it )...so of course this tree didn't last long...I don't know why you would keep it! Yes the life of Jason...he's always been excited about danger--balancing in a tree while holding a chainsaw...needless to say I was a bit nervous!
Also....
Jumping in the leaves!
Becky's birthday!
We also celebrated Becky's birthday w/ a butterfly cake...not that she's really into butterflies I just saw this cake and you made chocolate butterflies on it so thought it would be fun to try! We had a beautiful fall and even got to trick or treat w/o coats! I remember trick or treating w/ winter coats over our costumes when I was younger. Pey chose to be a witch--I told her she had to be a "good" witch and I found this great fireman's coat at a thrift shop for $5 for by default Jack was a firefighter!!
