Children's Museum

Water table --fun

Room full of water fun!

A huge climbing thing that goes all the way to the ceiling

Changing the tire like a pro
We journeyed up to Brookings to enjoy their new Childrens Museum over Christmas break--what a cool place. I think my kids could have stayed there all day-- it was really neat!

Merry Christmas!!!

Fun pics

Of course this would NEVER happen if I had Jackson--Jason puts his magic in motion ..Jackson passed out on the couch while sitting up!!

Our annual cookie baking

Christmas Program

This year both Jackson and Peyton were in our church Christmas program. Jackson- a sheep and Pey the star. Pey didn't actually have any lines but of course wanted some and wanted to sing a solo--so she was given a piece (which she memorized in 1 day) and basically sang a solo, since she was singing along w/ 2- 3yr olds and a 2 yr old :-) She definitely doesn't get her outgoingness (yes I've made that a word if it isn't) from me :-)

Tree time!

The Conners-- excited about their tree!

Can you tell some of us enjoy this more than others :-)

I actually picked the 2nd tree we saw which made Jason happy and surprised!
Every year since Pey has been born we've chopped down our own tree...its fun for the kids and us. This year the Conners came w/ us---it was a harder tree decision for them than us. Yes and every year as I pick up the needles I think I'd like a fake tree--but it seems so "un-Christmas like"...

First!

Nebraska boys!

Daddy's girl

Peyton all ready for her FIRST school Christmas concert--it was great and she had fun at it!

Brainwashing....

Family pic 2010--haven't taken one of us all forever!

Yes we may be brainwashed by Grandpa and Grandma... :-) Go Packers!

Birthdays, Birthdays

Pey is pretty lucky--she gets two birthday cakes..since she had her friend party and got her horse cake she went easy on me and chose an easy ladybug. Jackson got a dump truck cake which we had both for our family birthday party.

Happy Birthday Jackson

Hard to believe my little boy turned 2 in November..He is so much fun. He's for the most part a very happy boy, still a typical boy---loves balls, trucks and tractors. He LOVES Peyton and playing w/ her and wants to do everything she does. He never stops and is super active. He's starting to talk more and more, although often in only a language he and I can understand. He loves to ride in dad's truck or w/ grandpa in the tractor. Our little boy has brought us so much joy!!!

Fun for Jason!

Does this look safe?
or this?

Or this?

When we moved into our new home we inherited this annoying cherry tree (or something)...it dropped cherries all over our driveway and sidewalk constantly which of course got tracked in on our carpet (I still have the stains to show for it )...so of course this tree didn't last long...I don't know why you would keep it! Yes the life of Jason...he's always been excited about danger--balancing in a tree while holding a chainsaw...needless to say I was a bit nervous!

Also....

Pretty scary!

Jumping in the leaves!

Becky's birthday!

We also celebrated Becky's birthday w/ a butterfly cake...not that she's really into butterflies I just saw this cake and you made chocolate butterflies on it so thought it would be fun to try! We had a beautiful fall and even got to trick or treat w/o coats! I remember trick or treating w/ winter coats over our costumes when I was younger. Pey chose to be a witch--I told her she had to be a "good" witch and I found this great fireman's coat at a thrift shop for $5 for by default Jack was a firefighter!!

So be prepared...I finally am able to download pics again so will be slowly catching you up on the last 4 months of our lives!! Hopefully it'll be the condensed version!

October (I can't believe I haven't uploaded pics since then)---October brought us Peyton's 6th birthday!! --hard to believe!---being the true cowgirl she is we had a cowgirl party...since we were in the process of moving my parents were nice enough to host the party..So painting, pinatas, hayride and all we had a great time w/ 8 giggly girls!
